Honeywell (HON) chief executive said last week, “Our experience in India has been terrific!”
Honeywell (HON) anticipates sales in India to grow to more than $600 million this year! Honeywell employs more than 10,000 people in India.
Rumor has it that institutions are buying Honeywell (HON) because, “Honeywell’s repositioning and restructuring programs will result in a leaner and more efficient competitor which will result in an eventual upturn.” Institutions also like HON’s mix of commercial aerospace, residential and commercial building efficiency, and specialty materials markets.
Then just last week, Honeywell (HON) unveiled its 600,000 square foot research, development and engineering facility with an investment of $50 million. The plant is their second R&D facility in Bangalore and will have an estimated 3,000 employees.
