In the video below, I show the Bullish Flag pattern that has formed on Silver Wheaton (SLW) and the recent breakout.
My profit thesis is that Silver Wheaton (SLW) is a Bullish Flag Breakout Play. If I am correct, this play could net us 35% profit over the coming weeks.
What is interesting also is that the Bullish Flag Breakout pattern has formed coming up on Silver Wheaton’s (SLW) May 11, 2009 earnings announcement. This sometimes happens because Institutional traders who have deep research methods (such as actual contact with the company’s CFO) know before hand that the earnings announcement is going to be good and as such start buying before smaller traders like you and I even know if there is a positive earnings surprise.
Even more interesting, RiskMetrics Group, an independent proxy advisory firm, recommended today that Silverstone Resources shareholders vote in favor of the acquisition of Silverstone Resources by Silver Wheaton (SLW).
