Disney reopened its Magic Kingdom park last weekend, with two more parks set to open Wednesday. This comes as Hong Kong Disneyland is closing its doors again after 52 new coronavirus cases were reported. In contrast, Florida on Monday reported over 12,000 new cases. This is crazy that Disney reopened its Florida theme park. Only in Florida. It just goes to show you the culture of the regional government in a particular state trickles down to businesses. Disney seemed to care way more about the Chinese and closing down in China than it does in its home country! With Florida now the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States, it’s absurd that Disney reopened its theme park last weekend. I fully expect Disney to reverse course and shutdown again in the coming days.
