The Andrews’ Pitchfork is a trend channel charting tool that consists of three lines. The middle line is the median trend line and then there are two more trend lines on either side of the median.

The outside trend lines mark potential support and resistance areas. A trend remains in place as long as the Pitchfork channel holds. Trend changes occur when prices break out of the Pitchfork channel.
