NuZee Partnership with Lacsnac Creates Coffees Tailored to Nursing Moms
On February 10, 2023, NuZee announced a new partnership with Lacsnac to provide a first-ever single-serve coffee blend tailored to breastfeeding mothers.
Known for boosting lactation in nursing women, Lacsnac Lactation Coffee is single-serve Colombian coffee in tea bag sachets. Lactating mothers have long used fenugreek and blessed thistle to produce more breast milk. It is a standout item in the Lacsnac line of goods created by Molly Wilson, who also started the gourmet food company mollyandyou.
“I have long wanted to work with NuZee, Inc and have thoughtfully selected them as a partner after years of observing them in the marketplace,” says Wilson. “Together, we have created a first-to-market product in coffee.”
A breastfeeding mother who said she couldn’t find any lactation foods free of unhealthy ingredients inspired the idea for Lacsnac during a chance encounter at an airport early one morning. Wilson discovered this to be accurate after doing some research, and Lacsnac was eventually born out of her desire to offer nutritious and enjoyable food and drink options for lactating women. The Lactation Coffee, an ethically sourced and Non-GMO lactation coffee that is vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free, eco-friendly, small batch, and kosher, is one of the products that are highlighted.
“Our coffee sachets are industrial compostable, our box is recyclable, and we have carefully selected NuZee as our factory partner on this innovative coffee product,” explains Wilson. “That allows us to produce our coffee in a factory powered by renewable energy.”
