Anti-viral drug remdesivir has little to no effect on Covid patients’ chances of survival, a study from the World Health Organization (WHO) has found.
This study comes from the same WHO that refused to call the coronavirus a pandemic until March 2020. The same WHO that praised China for its handling of the coronavirus outbreak when in reality China engaged in a coverup and a suppression of information that allowed the coronavirus to spread around the world.
New England Journal of Medicine and Scientific American Endorse Biden
The New England Journal of Medicine and Scientific American have revealed themselves to the be the partisan pro-Democrat groups they really are.
The New England Journal of Medicine writes, “Anyone else who recklessly squandered lives and money in this way would be suffering legal consequences. Our leaders have largely claimed immunity for their actions. But this election gives us the power to render judgment.”
In September, the magazine Scientific American announced it was endorsing former vice president and Democratic candidate Joe Biden over President Trump, who it criticized for dismissing science. Many Americans stopped subscribing to Scientific American, myself included, back in 2002 when George Bush Jr. became President and a new pro-Democrat bias took over the publication.
The idea that the New England Journal of Medicine and Scientific American would endorse Biden, the same Biden that in 2009-2010 did nothing while the H1N1 virus infected 60 million Americans nearly 10x the number of people infected with the coronavirus so far. In fact, Biden and Obama even ordered that testing for H1N1 be stopped because it was making them look bad. The only reason that millions of Americans didn’t die was by luck that H1N1 is less deadly than the coronavirus.
Why would any so-called medical professional endorse Biden after his failed handling of the H1N1 pandemic? They wouldn’t. This is yet another example of Democrat controlled groups stumping for Biden just 3 weeks out from the election. Truth and reality has nothing to do with it. If you want your websites and publications favored by Google’s algorithms, you better endorse the candidate they want.
Pfizer said on Friday it may file for authorization of the Covid-19 vaccine it is developing with German partner BioNTech in late November, making it unlikely a vaccine will be available before U.S. elections as President Donald Trump has promised. Separately, a study coordinated by the World Health Organization has indicated that remdesivir, along with three other potential drug treatments for the coronavirus, has “little or no effect” on death rates among hospitalized patients. CNBC’s Meg Tirrell reports.
