Of Course Democrats Want Huge Tax Increases

Of course Democrats want huge tax increases. Tax increases cause expanding deadweight loss and ultimately contract economic growth. Democrats clearly want to crash the economy while President Trump is in office to make sure that he’s a one-term President only.

President Trump pushed out on Twitter today that congressional Democrats “want MASSIVE tax increases & soft, crime producing borders.” The President said that Republicans, instead, advocate “the biggest tax cut in history & the WALL.”

Not a shocker at all but it does show how broken our political system and government is.

Congress of today doesn’t care about the American people or this country. They will do whatever they can to advance their own interests in an attempt to hold on to money and power. If pushing for tax increases right now will crash the economy and make President Trump a one-term President, then that’s what they will do. They don’t care about helping the American people and doing what’s best for this country.

I’m not just picking on Democrats. John McCain was a great example of selfish politics when he voted against a health care plan in order to get vengeance against President Trump for saying that his war heroes are people that don’t get captured.

Let’s hope Democrats efforts to raise taxes fails. Please make sure you review this lesson on microeconomics and taxation here.
