Woodward Selected by Airbus to Provide Balance of Plant Solution for ZEROe Fuel Cell Demonstrator Contributing to Zero-Emission Flight
For the ZEROe demonstrator, which aims to put a zero-emission aircraft into service by 2035, Woodward announced on December 5, 2022 that it will collaborate with Airbus to provide the Fuel Cell Balance of Plant (BoP) solution.
Woodward will support the ZEROe project, which aims to develop hydrogen-powered aircraft using cutting-edge design capabilities and fuel technologies. With a comprehensive set of monitoring and control tools for hydrogen fuel and air for the hydrogen fuel cell system, Woodward’s BoP will significantly contribute to the project.
